Louisiana Property Tax Question

Looking at my first property and my Question is about property taxes in louisiana. Here we have homestead exemption but as an owner non-occupant we have to pay the full tax right? The property I'm looking at is 885 per year but with homestead exemption it's 0. So to analyze the property I should use 885 as my property tax figures or is there a different number or formula to figure that out? Thank you ahead of time

Hey Tobey, that is correct. Only owner occupants can claim homestead exemption as well as only one per Social Security Number.
