Buying a property for a friend
I have friends from Israel who are looking to buy property in Texas. One of them is US citizen with no credit score.
Can anyone direct me to "written answer" or to the "how" we co-invest/I use my credit score to buy their house/How do I act as their agent?
Did anyone act as an agent for someone else (from taking the mortgage to signing the docs?)
Thanks,

Are you trying to assist them in buying a primary residence, or an investment property?
Typically the former is achieved by co-signing on the mortgage if they would fail to qualify on their own. However...it's always advisable to evaluate the worst-case scenario in this situation and evaluate if you should co-sign based on that...
Alternatively, you could buy the house and then turn around and "rent-to-own" to your friend. But then you effectively become landlord to a friend.
Stating the obvious...your friend should start building credit history. Open up credit card accounts, use them instead of cash/debit, and pay them off every month in full...
