1031 Specialist in St. Louis?

Hello BP,

I'm asking for a friend, but down the line I will need the services also, of a 1031 specialist in St Louis. I'm presently buying a 4 plex, and the seller is concerned about capital gains tax, as I would be too. I believe he wants to go into the laundromat business, so 1031 may not be open to him. I don't know the timeline for any of his plans. He would possibly want to talk to someone about that.

For myself, I understand there is a 45 day window to identify the next property you wish to use the gains towards, and 180 days to close on it, is that right?

Is there someone here who would be willing to discuss with my seller questions he may have, and me also down the line when I'm ready to start selling?

Thanks guys,

Mike
