Handy man fell off roof. Sprained leg. Claims he won’t sue.

My handy man fell off the second floor roof to the first floor roof. He hurt his leg. It’s been about 8 days he still he a limp (according to him) and he’s losing work.

He says he’s not gonna sue. At least that’s what he said that day. However, I’m still worried.

I don’t know if he claims any of this income on his taxes. He told me before (6 months ago, he shows some income).

Would my home owners policy cover me on this? My medical payment insurance is only 5k. However liability is 200-300k.

Any advice how I can move forward and stop being stressed or best course of action.

@Ryan Armstrong

He is going to sue. This is just the buildup period, making the foundation for his case.
