How to tax shelter or write off rental income
I’m house hacking a duplex. Living in one side and renting the other side. Does anyone have advice on how to tax shelter or write off the rental income? I have a mortgage on the property and using the rental income to pay the mortgage. So I’m really not making any income on it yet. Don’t like the idea of paying taxes on what technically is a loss.
