LLC: To hold or to operate? That is the question.

We set up an LLC and we are trying to decide if we should use the LLC as a holding company or use the LLC to conduct operations.

We are leaning to the operating company side. Thoughts?

     At bigger scale, the holding company owns the operating company. There is no extra tax filing if structured correctly.
