Does anyone have a list of states that allow contract for deed sales ?

Appreciate it.

I believe they all do, see uslegalforms.com and look for the contract for deed packages. The key is to determine which states allow the seller to evict in the early years of the deal (before the buyer has 20% equity or 5 yrs into term), versus those that require the seller to go through the foreclosure process from day one, should the buyer default. I would not generally sell using CFD in a straight foreclosure state, unless I were getting at least 20% down.

I do know that Ohio and Mich are eviction states, for example.
