As the Asset Manager at Uptown Properties, you will be integral in our efforts to launch the department in our Portland, OR office. You will support our

syndication portfolio as well as other multifamily real estate asset classes. This is an exciting opportunity to build a best-in-class team with the resources and

support of a high-growth entrepreneurial company behind you. It will be important for this individual to have strong leadership and team-building skills, deep

financial analysis competencies, and a penchant for building processes and workflows.

● Drive each individual asset and the overall portfolio to maximize cash flow and valuation

● Develop communication and collaboration processes with Acquisitions, Accounting, and Investor Relations

● Oversee spend decisions on capital expenditures, expansions, and redevelopments

● Collaborate with Uptown’s in-house property management team to drive financial results

● Build a best-in-class team inside to scale the company’s project turnover division

● Oversee debt and equity capital executions for adjusting business plans

● Generate asset valuations, cash-flow projections, and other strategic analyses

● Orchestrate the administration schedule of RUBS implementation for properties.

● Incorporate newly acquired assets into asset management infrastructure

● Automate and streamline data requirements; Identify process efficiency improvements

● Roll-up reporting to the corporate financial planning to help inform leadership’s investment and growth plans

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, and related real estate field preferred

● Asset Management experience preferred

● Real estate or construction experience preferred

● Knowledge of credit and financial analysis, including cash flow analysis, balance

sheet analysis, profitability, liquidity, and solvency analysis.

● Knowledge of financial modeling techniques and preparation of pro forma

financial statements.

● Strong time management and organizational skills.

● Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

● Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

● Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.

● Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus, and build and maintain effective working relationships with management,

associates, customers, and other stakeholders at all levels.

Compensation will be a base plus bonus and weighed on performance. The Asset Manager will be provided a base rate of $38,000 per year- $55,000 per year based on experience plus bonus structure.
