Unheard of 30k commission on 350k fully remodeled property in Altadena
Buyers agents, my seller has authorized a 30k commission bonus on top of the 2.5% commission to any buyers agent that brings a buyer to 2323 Kellog Court, Altadena CA 91001. 688sf, 2 bedroom 1 bathroom, built in 1924, there are approved plans to add an additional 344 sf also available for buyer. Possibility to negotiate the addition into the purchase also.
Its an interesting strategy...Originally I advised my seller against it and told him to simply lower the price... but he may have been right because ever since we updated the MLS a few days ago, showings have increased drastically.
Buyers agent would have opportunity to negotiate his bonus for a closing cost credit to buyer or receive it in full.
Buyers agents please show by going direct, it is on a supra lock box.
Any thoughts from other agents on this strategy I have never encountered such a large bonus on a property in this price range.

wow that's amazing before the HUGE bonus as the seller in my opinion I would have gone with a few more property upgrades, lite staging and professional photos put the property under market created demand and taken the highest and best offer. Another opinion, primary residence property isn't like selling a used car, timeshare or vacuum cleaner, people really have to want the property.
