Legal question about self-showings and management units for others
Hey guys, legal question about self-showings and management units for others. If the lease is signed by the owner of the property, locks, and security cameras belong to the owner and we (the management company ) just facilitate self-showings and then help the owner manage those showings and to manage those tenants once the unit is rented.
1. Do we need any license for this or because the lease is signed by the owner and self-showing by the owner and we don't need any license as a property management company?
2. If rent is going to the owner's bank account and she/he just paying us management fees, we also don't need any license.
Thank you and will wait for your kind response,
Ran
