National SFR firm seeks local general partners in Kansas City, MO
About us: Ascend is a US-wide SFR investment firm currently focused on selected domestic markets. The company provides real estate equity and debt via its equity and debt partners, and has the infrastructure and ability to source properties both on the MLS and off-market at scale, as well as to stabilize and operate them as rentals. It leverages data and technology to support all these functions.
The opportunity: Ascend seeks local professionals to act as co-investors and local general partners in our Kansas City, MO SFR business. Partners would be obtaining equity and a share of profits, in exchange for providing local expertise and performing boots-on-the ground tasks. This is a long-term, real estate co-investment opportunity, not compatible with short-term compensation.
Requirements: We are looking for experienced, high-performing SFR experts who have built deep industry expertise in Kansas City and have a track record of excellence in at least one of the following areas:
1. SFR renovations and construction management, either with a technical engineering background, as a construction / renovations manager, or as a homebuilder or similar craftsman
2. Local property management or asset management experience, managing ideally single-family rentals and/or similar residential assets
3. Residential brokerage services, predominantly with a focus on single-family homes and/or similar residential assets
Experience can be from employment, contract work, or self-employment. Our focus is on the substance of your experience.
You can remain a business owner or agent, and continue to operate in your current full-time role.
