Poor Cleveland area Leadership is Ruining Housing Values

Poor local leadership has led the village of Newburgh Heights to lower housing values than many similar neighborhoods around the Cleveland area. In the 1,114th episode of The MLS Search & Analysis Show James Wise introduces viewers to the Mayor of this tiny Cleveland area village. Despite being under criminal investigation for campaign finance violations Trevor Elkins continues to run the village of Newburgh Heights as it's Mayor. James Wise and others believe Trevor Elkins' terrible leadership and disastrously housing policies are why the housing values in Newburgh Heights are so low. The low housing values in Newburgh Heights are a double edged sword for real estate investors. On one hand it allows real estate investors to pick up BRRRR deals like the fourplex we are talking about today for much lower than what an investment property like this would cost in most any other neighborhood in the Cleveland market. On the other hand it makes selling the investment property down the road a real problem. These housing issues are part of the reasons why James Wise believes that the village of Newburgh Heights and a similar village called Linndale will eventually be annexed into Cleveland.
