Milwaukee is suffering from a chronic housing shortage with no solution in sight. We simply have more people than roofs and very little new construction. The result has been an increasingly competitive housing and rental market that is driving both home prices and rents to new record heights. 

We have put together a YouTube video with the latest data on Milwaukee rent increases, a survey of local landlords about their plans to increase rents in 2024 and some arguments to consider before raising rents.
