looking for a lender that requires 1 year docs and low credit scores like low 600's
I recently just got out of prison and only have 1 year of verifiable income for 30k per year.
My credit is poor, low 600's. I have been aggressively working on it for 6 months now, but it takes time.
I am looking for a lender so I can obtain a mortgage in pompano beach, FL or WPB as a primary residence..
I have a condo that I rent out and I own free and clear, but can not qualify anywhere for a HELOC due to low credit score and only 1 year docs..
I am trying to build my real estate portfolio, but no banks will give me a chance.
any suggestions?

Hey @Nikol Catino. Have you talked to any CDFIs in Florida, the First Step Alliance Credit Union, or looked at CNote? Some of them will have programs for formerly incarcerated people like yourself. I don't have any affiliation with any of the above, but I'm happy to answer any of your questions.
