General contractor here, long time listener, first time poster

Hello BP community, I've heard so much about you!

I'll blurt out some info about me and my team here for a quick reference but really I'm looking forward to interacting with the community

First off, I'm part of a general contracting group that works primarily in the Philadelphia area and suburbs. There are 4 of us and between us we have 6 properties, 4 single family long term rentals, one out of state str, and one mixed use commercial/ res with 2 apartments.

We also specialize in rehabbing older homes in the area, we've worked on houses built in the 70's (1770's), the 1940's, and unfortunately a lot of stucco/ siding repair on homes as new as 6 years. We prioritizes keeping waste out of landfills but its necessary part of the job many times.

We also have a pretty active and informative youtube channel @greenbuildingnetwork and on instagram @phillygreenbuilding if you'd like to connect with us there

At the time of writing this we're rehabbing the mixed use space in a Philly suburb on the Main Line for ours portfolio, rehabbing a single family home in the Rittenhouse area of Philly for a client, and acquiring a 30 acre plot of land with a barn and single family structure in upstate New York as part of our portfolio.

Right now we are a finely tuned machine but we see opportunity! We are mainly looking to continue growing our portfolio and we are happy to bring on investors who's real estate plans line up with ours.

From what I've gathered by listening to all of the Bigger Pockets podcast shows it seems like there are many people out there looking to get in to acquiring  value-add properties but may not have the experience or might be weary of contractors. If this is the case we'd love to hear from you! Look us up on socials and you'll see we are up front and open about all of our processes, our trade partners, and our values!

I'll leave it at that for now but if theres anything I missed, questions about our approach to building our portfolio, or questions on construction I'd love to hear it

Thanks!

-Adrian
