Need Suggestion for a Bankruptcy Lawyer

Pradip Dhaduk
Posted

I successfully obtained an eviction judgment last month against my tenant for non-payment. However, within a week of the judgment, the tenant appealed the judgement and also filed for bankruptcy. So, my eviction case appeal is planned to go the County Court at Law. I understand that bankruptcy law prevents further eviction proceedings or enforcement actions against the tenant.

I'm currently seeking a bankruptcy attorney who can file a "Motion for Relief from Stay" in Bankruptcy Court. This motion would potentially lift the stay on the eviction process, allowing me to proceed with removing the tenant from the property.

I would greatly appreciate any recommendations for a bankruptcy lawyer in the San Antonio area who can help me with this situation.
