Looking for a Property Management Company
Hi folks,
I currently live in New York City, and I'm looking to buy a small multifamily home (2-4 units) in Columbus as an investment. I have been reviewing some properties in the last few months (likely to make a purchase in the next month or so).
Given I'm out of state I'm looking for a good property management company in Columbus. Plan on visiting the city in the next month, trying to reach out to folks now - so I can meet them in person when I visit.
Would appreciate any recommendations for good property managers, and any other tips about the city in general.
Thanks!

You’re smart to line up property management before you buy. Columbus has a decent mix of midsize and local PMs who work with small multifamily investors. When you visit, try to meet a few in person and ask what areas they actually manage and what they charge for leasing and maintenance. Also make sure they understand how to handle B and C class tenants if that’s where you’re buying. I am happy to send you some referrals.
