Buying properties from distressed sellers and tired landlords is a great way to make money. There are tons of distressed sellers and tired landlords in Cleveland, Ohio. It's not that Cleveland is inherently worse than other cities in regards to the types of tenants that live there. But there are a ton of failed landlords in Cleveland. Why is this? It's because these investors are usually from out of state and they don't know any better. They aren't trying to screw it up, but they don't know how to properly run a Cleveland rental property. Just like the Browns are screwing things up with how they are handling Shedeur Sanders, Cleveland landlords are screwing things up with how they are handling their tenants and rental investments.
