How to invest with your IRA or 401k into real estate

I wrote an article about investing with your IRA or 401k. It is funny because after writing this I realized I have $45,000 in my IRA in index Funds and REITS that I pay no attention to. It would be a lot of fun to invest that money into a turn key rental to see how the process works and since I am not relying on my IRA to retire with, I don't see much risk involved.
