Greetings,

My name is Mike Lopez and my wife Angela and I have been member of BP for a couple of months. I currently live in Wesley Chapel, FL and work full time in the Tampa/St. Pete area. I am seeking an RE mentor that is graciously willing to spend a small amount of time, when available, on the weekends over breakfast to help me and my wife ease our way back into this business. I am willing to trade physical labor if the mentor needs it, for knowledge and guidance. I have been listening to the BP podcasts since day one, (currently at episode 68) and reading different books to gain some knowledge of what professional REIs are doing to become successful in their specific area of RE. Although I am currently in the telecommunications industry, I have owned my own hardwood flooring business and been around construction just about my entire life. I have successfully flipped one house approximately ten years ago, but I did not keep investing due to the housing market crash. My wife and I have just passed the Florida real estate exam but have not “parked” our licenses with a broker yet. As my shift changes this July, I will be able to give and spend more of my time during the daytime hours focusing on real estate. I have heard many others on the BP podcasts who have worked a full time job while working their real estate business. I understand it will be extremely difficult, but I also know that the goal is achievable, and I am willing to put in the work. Nothing is too hard for me, for I have not only been a business owner in one of the most labor intensive jobs in construction, but also served in the Marines, went back to school and earned a degree while raising two children and working a full time job in a managerial position. I understand commitment for my wife and I have been happily married going on 23 years, March 13, 2016.

If you are interested in mentoring two highly motivated, eager to learn and hardworking, responsible adults, please contact me at 813403103 or at [email protected].

  • My current work schedule is Mon-Fri 10:30am-7:30pm with weekends off.
  • My schedule shift changes in July. I will be working a later shift, with more daytime hours available to invest into RE investing.

Sincerely,

Mike & Angela Lopez
