Rental Maintenance Tech
Brio Properties, a full service residential property management company, is seeking a reliable and adept handy person to fill an open maintenance position. Brio Properties manages over 100 units in Illinois and Wisconsin.
Maintenance team member responsibilities include: completing repairs in occupied units, completing maintenance of vacant units, tree trimming and cutting, various landscaping and ability to be on-call for emergencies.
Qualified candidates will have a valid driver's license, own transportation (pick-up truck or van preferred) and proof of insurance; live within 20 mile radius of Pleasant Prairie,WI. Must be willing to use some of their own tools. (Company owns items like chain saws, circular saws, miter saws, power sanders.)
Knowledge of the following residential repairs required:
Carpentry (hang a door, replace locks, etc)
Plumbing (replace faucets, troubleshoot leaks, water heater replacement)
Electrical (replace outlets, switches, light fixtures, thermostats)
Drywall patches and replacement
Painting
Knowledge of the following considered a plus but not required:
Electrical troubleshooting
Installation of sheet vinyl flooring or carpet
HVAC knowledge
Roofing
Experience: 1 year +
Hours: 30 hours average, on-call
Compensation: $12-14 per hour depending on experience, plus mileage
Locations: Bristol, WI; Kenosha, WI; Winthrop Harbor, IL; and Zion, IL.
Benefits: Accumulation of paid time off based on hours worked after 60 days
