Im working a deal with an older gentlemen to buy his 3 duplexes in the greater Portland area. They are all right next to each other. The rents are way low because of the condition of the property. All the units are 2bd/1ba and 900sq/f. It is a very run down property that I plan on living in and remodeling myself. My goal is to get rents for each unit to $1100-$1200/month and then refinance to pay back lenders.
