Novice Seeking Experienced Flipper as Partner

Hello, I am a novice investor hungry to finally take the plunge on my first flip. I've read books, forums, listened to podcasts, spoke to a few flippers, etc. and am very anxious to get started --- there's no teacher like experience!

My analytical and fairly risk averse personality has somewhat held me back (I know REI and flipping in itself is relatively risky, but no risk, no reward) however I have yet to come across a project I felt comfortable enough going in alone. Ideally looking for someone who has already located a few potential targets, has a team in place (or access to reliable and trusted contractors and labor), but needs more capital or is just a generous spirit and enjoys teaching and sharing knowledge.

I would prefer a project in South Florida, but open to other areas if the numbers make sound sense. Looking for an experienced flipper to partner with to get my first deal under my belt and hopefully continue one to 1-2/year conservatively. Would love to discuss potential opportunities and hoping to jump on a project when find a good match. I look forward to connecting!

Hi Brit, BP is a great place to connect with other like minded individuals and learn about deals that others have been doing. There are great resources and sounds like you have been utilizing them. I am very excited about the south Florida market and think that there is still a lot of potential for growth. @Leo Jurado is in south Florida as well and is looking to get involved in flipping as well. He may be a good person to connect with, in speaking with him he is hungry and very focused on building his real estate portfolio.
