Property Manager Needed - Chicago
Landmark Property Management is searching for talented, ambitious, self-directed candidates with strong customer service and problem solving skills. Successful candidates will be motivated and excited to work at a fast-growing company with room for growth.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all duties including but not limited to:
- Coordinate resident relations and communication
- Rent collections
- Coordinate leases and lease renewals with tenants
- Coordinate resident move-ins and move-outs
- Oversee activities of contractors, vendor personnel, and suppliers
- Own a geographic area of buildings predominantly in the South and West sides of Chicago and Chicago suburbs
- Follow-up on maintenance / repair requests and ensure properties stays in excellent condition
- Address resident complaint phone calls and follow-up, ensuring continuing resident satisfaction
- Successfully pass annual CHA Section 8 unit screening to ensure continued revenue
- Perform routine drive/walk by of properties at various times throughout the day/night
The idea candidate will possess:
- Previous property management experience (although not required)
- Easy going attitude with a passion for helping people/solving problems
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft office programs (Excel, Word, etc.)
- The ability to work independently and efficiently
- Commitment to reliability
- Desire to succeed in a fast growing company
- Willingness to work flexible schedule (including nights and weekends)
- ACCESS TO RELIABLE AUTOMOBILE IS REQUIRED
