Fulton County GA water liens

Any of you dealt with the water department for Fulton county??

Many of these larger apartments 20+ units my investors are interested in have massive water liens attached to them. The buildings are vacant.

My attorney is checking on it but it appears that Fulton county water liens have the same standing as property taxes and survive foreclosure in that one county.

Nobody will buy the apartment buildings with 70k to 100k in a water lien.I think Atlanta would want to just release the lien as the property will be rehabbed and will save blight and start generating water bill revenue from the new tenants going in.

If the county won't budge the investors will just go to the next one.I am seeing a bunch of Fulton county unpaid water bills attached to vacant properties.
