RESIDENTIAL ASSET MANAGER-

Ohio based residential portfolio seeking Leader. This position requires Integrity, Education, and Experience to oversee this $34 million portfolio of Single Family and Multifamily assets. The Asset Manager will report directly to the Principal, who is committed to continual growth.

Salary is negotiable based upon education and experience.

Bonus potential for superior performance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, present, and help execute comprehensive management and optimization strategies for each asset.
  • Evaluate, identify, recruit, manage, supervise, motivate and Lead all management employees and 3rd party management firms
  • Monitor cash flow, distributions and returns.
  • Create strategies and communicate recommendations to maximize total return for each asset and increase property values over time; coordinate and execute successful asset dispositions and refinancing’s.
  • Ensure adherence to budgets and business plans and effectively communicate changes to management for approval.
  • Modify business plan strategies as needed based on operating results and changing fund/investor objectives.
  • Successfully partner with internal and third-party property management teams, including working with Property Managers, Regional Managers, leasing staff and marketing personnel.
  • Review financial reporting and variance analysis and coordinate with accounting personnel to ensure that financial statements are accurately presented.
  • Coordinate asset servicing and reporting responsibilities with internal departments to ensure proper tracking and timely and accurate reporting.
  • Perform asset-level valuation reviews and hold-sell analysis as needed, including gathering market data, reviewing property performance and measuring each asset against its budgets and goals.
  • Analyze projected capital projects to determine feasibility in regard to hold period.
  • Draft asset cash forecasts and capital call documents/memos as needed.
  • Various projects as needed relating to asset strategy.
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Real Estate or related field with strong record of academic achievement.
  • Minimum of 2 years of real estate, analysis/asset management experience with an emphasis on multifamily properties.
  • Collaborative work style and ability to work in a team to achieve goals.
  • Comprehensive understanding of multifamily real estate transactions and structures; excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, detailed property-level financial statement analysis, proforma analysis.
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple concurrent projects with an ability to independently identify and solve key business problems.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. \ Able to present ideas persuasively and defend these in a clear, concise and compelling manner.
