Virtual Assistant Conference Call Tuesday, May 28th
On Tuesday, May 28th my weekly conference call will be about working with a Virtual Assistant.
Call starts at 7 pm Central
Call 1-206-402-0100
Access Code 929815#
A Virtual Assistant is someone who does work for you or your company but they are not in your location. They could be somewhere in the United States, in the Philippines, Brazil, the Bahamas, just down the street or anywhere in the world.
You primarily communicate with them via emails and Skype. But you will probably never meet with your virtual assistant.
They are usually independent contractors and not employees. If they live and work outside the United States, you don’t have to file a 1099 form or pay social security.
If you’re like most small business owners, you probably have a long list of things you’d like to do but just can’t seem to find time to do. A virtual assistant can solve that problem.
You may have a long list of things you’d like to do but don’t know how to do… things like building a web sites then doing the things necessary to attract traffic to the site. A virtual assistant can solve this problem.
Some virtual assistants are free lancers (hired for 1 project only), others are part time and many are full time workers. There are pros and cons to each. We’ll discuss this during the call.
To make sure the Virtual Assistant conference call is as INFORMATIVE as possible, I’m asking you to please email me the top 3 questions you have about finding, or hiring, or working with a virtual assistant.
I’ll try to make sure those topics are covered during the call.
One of the most important things you need to do BEFORE you hire a Virtual Assistant is to decide exactly what it is you want them to do.
Please send your top 3 questions about finding or working with a Virtual Assistant to [email protected]

Jackie Lange,
If you are not issuing it then you BETTER have detailed receipts. They are providing services to a US Company.
Technically you would be required to issue Form 1042 to them.
"Generally, every nonresident alien individual, nonresident alien fiduciary, and foreign corporation with United States income, including income that is effectively connected with the conduct of a trade or business in the United States, must file a United States income tax return. However, no return is required to be filed by a nonresident alien individual, nonresident alien fiduciary, or foreign corporation if such person was not engaged in a trade or business in the United States at any time during the tax year and if the tax liability of such person was fully satisfied by the withholding of United States tax at the source."
