How long for an inquiry to show on credit report?

Question

Anyone know how long it takes for an inquiry to show up on your credit report from a credit card application? Someone told me it takes around 30 days, and someone else told me it's instantaneous.

An also, If you have over 5 inquiries in each bureaus , no lenders are fundin. you can't get funded anywhere, that's why i remove them for my clients to get funding.

Another tip is if you're applying for a car loan, most broker dealers shop for not just one lender so usually , i should say almost often they add about 3-5 inquiries in your report, so be aware. 
Another way to avoid that is to tell the person incharge for applying not to shop in a lot of places.

Most common mistakes is that people have good credit, but they have a lot of inquires, and they don't understand why they can't get qualified when they have good credit is because they have too many inquiries. Keep in mind that for some people that don't understand this, they keep applying to other places to see if they can qualify for any type of loan, and they can't so that will just stacked up the inquiries even more, thus it gets worse for not getting any type of loans, credit cards, etc.

The inquiry hits instantly after you've apply for anything, car loan, mortgage , credit cards, etc. As soon as you apply , it will show the inquiry. I know this for a fact because I remove credit inquiries for my clients for funding, and i see the inquiry lands on their report instantly after i apply for funding.

Inquiries stays in your report for 2 years.

In my experience, the way credit repair people get the inquiries off your report is they contact the bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion). They usually know someone on the inside that can perform this for them. All you have to do is show the right documentation. I used to send my clients over to this guy because he was able to get people's credit scores where they needed to be to qualify. I believe that's how this game works.

Back in the late 90's when I did manufacutred housing finance, we pulled credit on site and inquiry's showed up instantly.  There was a line of dealers on the freeway and we could tell where they had shopped at.  Most new credit is updated on monthly cycles disclosing you being 30-60-90 days late.

How long does it usually take for a new line of credit to show on my credit report? For example, say I apply for a credit card and get approved. When does it show as an active account on my report?

We use www.creditchecktotal.com to monitor the credit. All clients have to sign up for the credit monitor-its like 22.95 a month. Credit check total if you want tomonitor your credit is the easist way, everything is laid out nice and clean for all 3 credit reporting agencies.

and once inquiries or collections are removed it will show instantly (usually).

Hi Mark,

I can't disclose that actually sorry. We only do it for our clients only. We increase FICO score 20-150 points depinding on what they have on their credit.

So sorry but I can't tell you guys how Im doing it. but it usually takes me 1 week average to remove 10 inquiries and if it's more, then maybe up to 30 days. But we do it fast so that our clients can get the funding that they need asap.

The bureaus seem to ignore the form letters and I get the same old confidential spiel whenever I ask someone that is supposedly an expert.  This site isn't supposed to be about promoting services.  It is supposed to be about sharing and learning from one another.

I am thinking of seeing if my attorney will send these guys something.  A form letter that I can pay for once and circulate via registered mail may do the trick.

I got a couple of new inquiries last week that I didn't authorize.  Removing this crapola should by easier when the inquiries often aren't authorized.

When I check my reports and scores on MyFico.com, there is a dispute/correction section where you can correct things. I've personally done that.

I, too, am wondering how you are able to get rid of inquiries, though.

We only change personal credit when the client signs a funding agreement as we do not charge upfront fees. My husband has been doing personal credit for 15 years and does not disclose his tactics. We take 10% on the backend
