Had anyone every used https://www.spendingalert.com?
Please tell me your thought about it.
I personally like the app Mint-
Its very easy to use but I have not heard of this app
@James Butler - This seems kind of silly. Mint is a well-known app that does this functionality and is probably the smallest bit of what they do.
I'm not a fan of giving my financial information to random companies....
even though I'm sure this post and OP are spam, I'll still suggest the personal capital app.
very similar to Mint, but a bit more refined imo
Not a big fan of Mint because
1. Bank connections break often.
2. You have to categorize everything and it takes time managing incoming uncategorized transactions. Spending alerts are targeted to each category so you get a bunch of them which desensitizes them to me.
3. Free but zero customer service.
I liked that SpendingAlert is simple.
Set 1 monthly spending limit and recieve alerts by text. No need for fancy pie charts and tons of emails selling me other financial services.
2.99 per month is not much and there is a cost to anything even if it is free. Reconnecting the bank accounts is a pain.
