"Free" Cable and HBO

I thought I'd share a cute little trick I discovered.  I purchased a 4-unit last year and came to find out that one of the tenants had cable and HBO included in their lease (also explained why the rent was higher than market).  I was pretty pissed to find out that i was on the hook for $120/mo to provide a luxury that i wasn't aware of.  The tenant wanted 1 bill to pay every month and was willing to pay the higher rent that included cable TV service.  I figured out that since I controlled the account, I got the streaming service with my owners login.  I canceled cable at home and we now just use the streaming service.  $1000+ annual personal cost has now become a business expense that someone else pays for (in a round about way).  This will only work with cable providers that have a good streaming service (comcast/verizon).
