I'm 23, started doing research, educating myself through BP and want to buy my first duplex. Theres alot in my area, most already preoccupied. I want to know my pre-approval status, but I feel that I may get denied because of the recent late payments I have on my credit report. 30 and 60 day late payments on my car loans and credit cards. I'm caught up now, but just need advice on should I still look and try to get pre approved, or what is the score lenders are wanting?
I also need to clarify if I qualify for the 1st time home buyer loan to be able to buy my 1st duplex.

Should I buy my 1st duplex under my LLC? Or what is the most effective way of purchasing a duplex/multifamily home that I am truly buying to make money as a business, not like under me personally? If that makes sense.
