House Hacking in Las Vegas w/o Renting by Room

Hello BP Comm,

I'm considering moving to Las Vegas and looking to house hack, but would want privacy and not rent by the room. My main concern is sharing space, kitchen, bathroom, etc. In skimming through the public MLS it doesn't seem like there are many small multi-fams in quality areas, nor many homes with (un)finished basements or attics.

Does anyone know of any creative strategies to house multiple units on one property in the LV market? Is the local municipality welcoming to ADUs?

Thanks

Not the greatest city for multi family. You can find the occasional home with a separate entrance unit ( mother in law suit). Maybe that should be your focus.
