Alcove Shower - Not a Tub: Shower Door or Curtain?

I've seen some posts on this however it's not very clear if others are debating over a tub or a walk-in shower and wanted to post this to get feedback and even suggestions. Nicest rehab in a class B- neighbood with an alcove 48" walk in shower (disregard the measurement on the photo below) on the 3rd floor unit in Chicago (proper).

1) Would you install a glass door or curtain rod?
2) What product recommendations do you have for a door?

Here's a blurry image of the space. There's a niche not shown that has the same white hexagonal tile in it. Naturally I'm interested in showing off the rehab. Finding quality glass shower doors are more than I expected and not sure where to source a good one without paying an arm and a leg.

@Eric La Pratt -  Just curious what Chicago neighborhood is this in?

Personally, I'd lean towards shower glass.  It may be a bit more expensive but probably cheaper in the long run because it eliminates all the excess water getting out of the shower.  You can get standard shower glass at home depot or Menards, alternatively, you can hire professional installers as well.

I'm not a design guy at all, I am actually embarrassed with some of my selections on a current flip (never again am I choosing).  You know who is quite the designer.........@Jennie Berger - What do you think?
