Home Warranty Insurance

Hi,

Is home warranty insurance worth it? I did used it couple of times on my rentals, but then I realized that I was already paying a good chuck per year ($700/year or $60/month). Also each service was $70. 

Is it worth or what is alternative way? 

FYI- My rental is 1 hr drive for me.
