Looking for a tenant? got me wondering... Zillow for tenants?

After reading about a few landlords having screening problems, threats,   and recent anti-landlord gotchas and pitfalls that landlords are experiencing (in various states) when advertising for a tenant, I was wondering..... Could there be a possible website, kind of like a dating website for tenants? The tenant advertises (Tenant #2782H for example) his good qualities, income, no evictions, a short essay of the kind of house he needs, whatever. The landlord can decide if this is the right tenant fit for his property. The landlord contacts him and reviews his story, if good, sign him up.  No more landlords sticking their neck out (especially in blue states) where one slight error can cost thousands in fines. No more advertising and filtering people that will never qualify. Would this be possible? Would it work nationally? Could this be a start up with venture capital?  Or Zillow for tenants? Does this even make sense? I was just wondering.
