Who'd a thunk I'd have 3 showings of an apartment today, just 2 weeks before Christmas

Just thought I'd post this for any landlords deciding whether to spend the energy advertising an apartment this close to Chrismas.

I have small 1BR units, clean, safe and inexpensive $675 plus utilities, in a small town 20 minutes o commute to Nashua NH and Manchester NH, could commute to Boston, MA, but if this is all the apartment you can afford, you're probably not working in Boston. I also allow pets and charge extra for dogs. (That's a plus for lots of people).

I'm advertising on Postlets (which syndicates) and craigslist and that's all. I'm getting a couple of inquiries a day. I have a group showing today at 5:30, let's see if any of them can deal with the kitchen that is only about 8 linear feet plus range plus refrigerator.

So it looks like the demand is there right now. I'll post the results if anyone is interested.

@Ann Bellamy Great, hope they all are not "move in ready with cash".

I agree. I recently had two different Tenants move out, replaced them (with a little upgrade to the units) and no loss of Rent.

I'd be reluctant to advertise "safe". Up for interpretation: safe locks? safe neighborhood? safe security patrol? safe neighbors?
