Apartment Complex is refusing to renew our lease and my daughters father deployed.

We were given an Advanced Notice of Lease Termination at end of lease Term or Renewal.  My daughter's father, who is also on this lease, is deployed to Iraq.  He was deployed in November 2022 and will be gone until approximately September/October 2023.  Our lease comes up for renewal May 31, 2023 and the apartment complex has already issued an Advanced Notice of Lease Termination at the End Of the Lease Term or Renewal Period.  In essence they want us out by May 31, 2023.  They haven't justified the stance their taking.  We have lived here six years and have only been late on rent 2 times (of which we paid any/all applicable fees); we haven't had any complaints against us; nor do we have any fines/warnings for lease violations.  What recourse do I have to, at a minimum, to renew the lease until his deployment is completed.  Any help or direction you can afford me would be greatly appreciated.

Ask why? A big increase they don’t want you to face? A planned unit renovation? Are you paying under market rent? If it’s unit related ask if you can move to another unit in the building? Landlords don’t like or want vacancy. There will be a reason.
