Hi all,

After covid most of the houses in Dallas and Houston the home insurance are gone up by 45-75%. Now this is getting huge burden coz property tax for those houses have increased around 45-70% in 2022. We can't do much about taxes except protest but came no change in 2023. I am trying to see if I can save some money in insurance. Currently with liberty mutual and with them for ages now.. so trying to see if I can get guidance on broker or other companies?

Thanks

I have been with Farmers for maybe 30 years. Every 2-3 years I shop with brokers and direct insurers. I make sure my broker is aware that I shop. I have never had enough reason for change. Make sure you are comparing apples to apples and be aware that you may be offered a lower rate in year one, only to have it jacked way up in year two.
