Landlords, how much do you charge to hold a unit for a potential tenant?

I am renting out my first property and I have a tenant that is interested in the property but wont be able to move until August 2024. How much do you charge to hold the unit for them?

Also, is there any form of legal document that I should potentially have the tenant sign if I do decide to hold the unit for them?

I charge them the same as if they were living there renting . If they want the place and pass the screening process , then they sign the lease .  I dont "hold" a unit
