Be careful allowing your tenants to deposit to your account

That is especially true in GA. Technically, if a tenant deposits .01 into your account then you have to restart the entire eviction process. Obviously most judges will not allow that to happen, but if one does it will cost you a significant amount of time and money. I believe that some other states also have similar laws.

Those laws should really be changed. Is anyone fighting to change that?

You are the owner and are entitled to even partial payment for your property without it stopping eviction. The idea of that law actually angers me.
