What's working for Austin area Investors on Repairs & Turnovers

Hey everyone — just wanted to introduce myself and learn from others working deals in and around the Austin.

I’ve been helping several local investors with repairs, prep work, and punch lists — especially during turnovers and before listing. A lot of what I’m seeing comes down to one thing: it’s tough to find skilled, dependable help that’s fast and easy to book.

Some approaches I’ve seen work well:

  • Grouping projects into focused “work days” to avoid hiring multiple subs

  • Keeping repair scopes tight and efficient - especially on rentals

  • Working with people who actually show up when they say they will

I’m always interested in connecting with others who are:

  • Turning over units

  • Doing small upgrades or light rehabs

  • Managing properties in the burbs

  • Or just trying to make things more efficient

Would love to hear what’s working for you all — and always happy to share what I’ve seen working on the service side, too.

Looking forward to connecting!
