What do you value most in monthly reports from your property manager?

Hi everyone,

as I’m preparing to launch a bilingual full-service PM company in Central Texas (E2 visa, 2026), I’d love your perspective:

• Detailed financials vs. a simple cash-flow summary?

• Maintenance/repairs: would you like a motnhly status including routine items (e.g., HVAC/AC & heating servicing, filter changes), or only larger repairs?

• Any KPIs (occupancy, rent collection, turn times) you find essential?

Curious what’s truly useful to you – not just what software exports by default. Thanks!

Our software package has 10 Owner Report options.

Most of our clients choose 1 of the 3 with the LEAST info, which makes them easier to understand (we're told).

Most owners really do NOT know how to read a P&L and won't invest the time to learn.

So, simplier is better for the majority.
