Break in during tenant turn over- insurance claims experience

Hello folks,

I had a break-in while I was doing tenant turnover cost of repairs and replacements under $5000. I am debating if I should file an insurance claim but my concern is that they will increase the annual insurance cost. Has anyone had experience filing claims and how did it affect your insurance costs?

Thank
