Property Management Takeover

Hello everyone, I'm not happy with my current property management company and happen to be moving back to the same location of the home I own and they manage for me. I'm wondering what is the best method for firing them and taking over management of the lease? My intent is to manage the property myself for the remaining 3 months of the current lease, upon which time we are planning on moving into the house. Appreciate any advice offered. Thanks everyone.

I would review your agreement and see if you have a termination fee from canceling. Most standard agreements do. But you may not have that clause in there.

Then I would weigh whether it's worth getting into a legal battle over three months or just waiting at the three months and then taking it over.
