What to do with tenants during fumigation?

Hey guys! We may have to fumigate our quad ( two 1-br cottages and 1 duplex). I understand we have to place tenants in a hotel. Please, share your experience; 1. How did tenants react to being at a hotel? 2. Do we need to cover tenants food also? 3. Is it advisable to fumigate after tenants move out since there are 3 separate buildings? Thanks!
