Management Companies

Hi everyone
I am new here, and not sure if I am doing this right, but could do with some advice if anyone can help me.
We have invested in a home in Orlando, aiming to rent to the short term rental market, i.e. vacation. We thought we had found a good management company, but on going to visit a couple of weeks ago found numerous problems in the house, all to do with total neglect. They were taking the money every month, and not doing any work. We have now told them to "get lost", but are having a hard time getting any money back, (you have to keep cash in an account to cover any repairs, etc). they have also made up false invoices for work that has never been done, and items that have never been bought. Is there any sort of governing body that oversees these companies that we can complain too? We do have something like that over here in the UK, but not sure about the US. Any advice would be most welcome!
