Who knows an excellent property manager in Cleveland / Akron OH?

Question

I am a new investor, just starting. I recently got an accepted offer for a single family in Cleveland OH, and planning to buy more in the Akron OH area. From what I have read so far, I realized one of the success factors of this rental property business is having an excellent property manager / management team. I will be glad to have good recommendations from people who have experience working in this area.   Thanks!!!

Does anybody know any company that will manage in east cleveland? Its fucked up that no company wants to manage in east cleveland. Im in need of a property manager now!

Please be sure because Im tired of hearing "no, we dont manage east cleveland" after wasting your time with them.

But, Ill be happy with any help.

Monica, I am glad to see that you thought of Holton-Wise when deciding on Ohio as your next investment location.

Here are four mortgage brokers I am familiar with that could help you out. I believe they lend in most of the states so I don't think you will be limited to using them only for Ohio. There are also many other great mortgage brokers in the area so don't think you are tied to anyone if these gentleman are not the perfect fit. Good luck on getting your Ohio investment portfolio started.

Hello Gentlemen,

I was referred to the Holton- Wise property group from a colleague. I am a real estate investor from New Jersey. I am looking to branch off to the Ohio region. I spoke with Kevin Hoag today from Holton. Mr. Hoag provided me with additional information about the company. I also talked with him about the properties ( duplexes) that my colleague has sent me from Holton Wise property group.

However, I was seeking to find a mortgage broke in the Ohio area, I believe Kevin forgot to provide me with mortgage brokers numbers. Would you gentlemen be able to provide me with some referrals to broker as  we all know a reputable mortgage broker is key in getting the ball rolling.

@Matt Motil : It is my first attempt... may be I am being ignorant. But I don't mind experimenting with the right property manager. I got a 14k deal already with the tenant paying $560 rent per month and 1-year lease. I am hoping that will work out well with the right management.Another out-of-state owner in Akron selling his whole portfolio has also agreed to sell one of his properties, a duplex for 25k, which brings in gross $900 per month, and long-term tenants. I'll make my offer contingent on inspection. I also like to experiment with this and see how it goes. He has owned the property for few years, managed by himself, and has worked well for him. But he is now old and retiring.... So, I am hoping it will work for me too...

Anyway, your comments and suggestions are welcome!

You want sub-30k deals over 25% that you want a management company to manage for you? Have you been successful with this model up to this point or is this your first attempt at making this work?

I've interviewed a few in the area for my properties. I can say HWPG has been excellent if your property is within their area, whereas my other one has been subpar.
