I prefer to show units myself or have our leasing agent do it as a part of our screening process.  It also helps up make sure that properties are looking good when they are shown not to mention gather feed back on the property from the prospect but I have seen so many property management companies handing out keys and trying these automated approaches that seem to me to leave a big gap in the renting process.
