Move out letter?

I read somewhere that providing the tenant with a 'move-out letter' once they've given notice is a good idea. The letter tells them how to leave the place (empty and clean), details about the deposit, instructions to cancel utilities and subscriptions. Do you guys do that? If so, what other details do you include? Thanks in advance.

Absolutely.  We send a letter confirming when the note was received, the move out date indicated, the forwarding address, when the rent obligations end, and the specific instructions s regarding move out/cleaning/keys/utilities and when the final statement will be mailed.

We also include a list of contractors we use for cleaning and carpets who will do these services to our standards.
