Where should my LLC be based?
I live in one state, and recently bought property in another. I plan on building a duplex on the property and want to move the ownership from my name (currently owned under my name) to an LLC. I'm wondering, does it matter what state I start the LLC in? Should it be in my home state or where the property is located? Or does it matter?
